My Journey as a Documentary Director in Hong Kong.
My journey as a documentary director started when I created short documentaries for travel and food content channel ANYDOKO. The content was received very well and gained millions of views. This led to brands commissioning branded documentaries for their own content channels and in-flight entertainment.
After creating an award-winning brand campaign for Malaysia Airlines featuring Poh Ling Yeow from MasterChef I started to focus on brand-funded documentaries with invisible branding. I worked on long-form documentaries and series for WarnerBros, Discovery Channel and TLC.
One of my latest documentaries is a one-hour special about kimchi. The documentary was filmed in the United States and Korea over 2 weeks and is currently airing globally on Discovery Channel and several streaming services.
